Pledge Drive Support

What is Pledge Drive Support?

This is a seasonal opportunity to take incoming pledge drive calls for companies such as PBS, NPR, Wounded Warrior, St Jude, ASPCA and various other non-profit agencies.  You will be taking calls from persons who have already decided to call in to donate. This opportunity is in no way affiliated with Arise Virtual Solutions, Inc.

As a Freelance Customer Service Professional, you will provide the following tasks:

  • Read script verbatim

  • Assist callers with information about and making their donation to their chosen non-profit agency

  • Provide outstanding customer service

  • Enter customer and pledge information correctly

 

Equipment at a Glance:

  • Windows based PC with anti-malware security

  • 2 GB minimum RAM

  • CPU (Intel or AMD) 2 GHz processor (or equivalent)

  • Monitor resolution of 1280 x 720 (720p) or greater

  • Internet Explorer 10 or higher

  • Internet speed with a minimum bandwidth of 512k upload and 1.5 Mbps download (or greater)

  • Hardwired internet connection required—Wi-Fi is not permitted

  • No landline required-you will be provided a virtual phone

  • USB Headset

 

Company hours of operation (subject to change based on client needs):

  • The busiest Pledge Drives usually occur in January, March, June, August, October, November and December

  • 24 hours a day, 7 days a week during pledge seasons

  • Top performing agents may be offered more opportunities in the future

  • Minimum of 15 hours a week required during all major pledge drives

Required Certification:

  • Background check & client certification course $50

  • Certification is 100% online and can be completed in as little as 10-14 days

Service Revenue:

You can expect to earn $0.18 - $0.32 per talk minute based on agent performance

​

Please note that this opportunity is not available to residents of Delaware, Massachusetts, Louisiana, Washington, West Virginia, Wyoming, Vermont, California or South Dakota. 

 

Additional Info:

  • Voice demo required-you must be able to pass this before proceeding with certification. Your vocal demo will be done during your initial registration class. Must be in a quiet environment. 

  • To perform services on this line you must be computer literate, have at least 1-2 years of customer service/call center experience and have work from home experience.

  • The $50 enrollment fee is to cover the background check and onboarding.

  • There is a max cap $56 per pay period on service fees based on how much you work.

  • You must attend a registration class and be on servicing computer, be professional at all times, have a quiet environment and be on time.

  • Only browsers that are accepted are IE 10 and Chrome

  • Must have 5 years work history available and 10 years of address history available during registration class. 

  • Proof of location needed during registration class.  Your ID or a bill with your name and address on it will be sufficient. You will be asked to provide a screenshot of this info during registration.

  • You may be asked during registration to provide a screenshot of your computer specs.

  • Cert can be done in as little as 7-14 days if you are consistent.  

  • You have full control over your schedule. You will be scheduling in 30 min blocks of time. It can be very flexible as long as you work the hours you schedule and keep everyone informed.

  • Your contract is dependent upon your performance.

  • You will be paid twice a month by the 15th and the last day of the month.

  • Most successful agents attend 3-5 classroom sessions to prepare for taking calls.

  • This opportunity is separate from Arise. If you are currently servicing a client on the Arise platform, this would be in addition to that. You would be responsible to meet the minimum hour requirements of each.

  • This is an independent contractor position, not employment.

  • You are paid for the time you actively on the phone. 

 

To qualify you will need the following:

-Call Center Experience

-Work @ Home Experience

-Outstanding Communication and Customer Service Skills

-A Windows Based Laptop or PC that meets the system requirements

-Active anti-virus protection

- Hardwired Internet Connection

-Quiet Work Environment

-Availability to Work at Least 15 hours/week

-Corded USB Noise Cancelling Headset
