At Work from Home Solutions, LLC our mission is to help you find relief from the 9-5 and take control of your life. We feel that work/life balance should not be a struggle.  We can help you put flexibility and convenience back into your schedule while still earning a gainful income.  Here are answers to some questions you may have.

IS THIS A LEGITIMATE OPPORTUNITY?

We understand that there are a lot of scams out there.  We have partnered with Arise Virtual Solutions to bring you legitimate work from home business opportunities. There are thousands of small business owners and contractors operating under the Arise Platform and they have been doing so for over a decade!

CAN I WORK FROM ANYWHERE?

To operate under the Arise Platform you must live in the US and be at least 18 years old or older and not reside in CA, CT, MA, MD, NY, OR or WI.

ARE THERE FEES TO GET STARTED?

 As an Independent Contractor (IC) you are responsible for any associated fees. Think of it as an investment in your business. Here is a breakdown of some of the fees you will encounter.

1. Initial Arise background check for new registrants $9.99. If you have had a felony or any fraud charges, you may not be eligible to provide services on the Arise platform.  The background check fee is paid directly to our 3rd party vendor. 

2. Arise certification course fees-these fees vary based on the client.  As an independent contractor, you are responsible for your own certification fees. These fees are paid directly to Arise. Course fees range from $9.99-$299.00 depending on the client. 

3. Arise Platform usage fee -Arise charges a bi-monthly usage fee of $19.75 per active user . This is for the utilization of their 24/Hr client help desk, accounting and scheduling services.  This fee is not assessed until you are actively earning revenue. 

4. Low Independent Business (IB) fees charged by us for operating under our company if you are not incorporated yourself.  We do not charge any IB fees until after your first 30 days on the phones (this applies to your first certification course only). After your first 30 days, a fee of $1/hr serviced is charged if you average up to 30 hrs/week.  If 30+ hrs/week are averaged, this fee drops to $.50/hr.  Fees are calculated based on average hours worked per pay period.   Fees are calculated per line serviced if you service multiple lines.  These IB fees are separate and in addition to any Platform Usage Fee charged by Arise. We provide free direct deposit of your earnings on or before the 12th and 27th of each month.

AM I AN EMPLOYEE OF WORK FROM HOME SOLUTIONS, LLC?

No. You are neither an employee of WFHS, LLC or Arise. This is a business opportunity, not employment. You are a W-9 contract worker and are responsible for your own taxes. We will provide you with a 1099 at the end of the year if you earn over $600. HOW DO I GET PAID?

We pay via direct deposit on or before the 12th and 27th of each month. We will provide you with a pay statement each pay period. No taxes are withheld by WFHS, LLC. As a freelance worker, you are responsible for your own taxes.

AM I PAID DURING CERTIFICATION?

No.  As an Independent Contractor certification is unpaid. However, you are paid for any time you are on the phones during your course.  All certification as well as all certification related materials are provided by Arise and Arise certified instructors.  Work from Home Solutions, LLC is the intermediary between Arise's clients and our contractors working from home. As a contractor, you are responsible for all certification fees and any equipment needed to perform the duties as required.

3. Complete the background check and sign the required documents to view client info

5. Choose the client opportunity that works best for you

Please note: Each client opportunity has a required certification course that must be completed and passed before you can begin servicing. These certification courses are highly structured, instructor-led virtual classroom courses that instruct you on the client's systems that you will be using to perform the duties of the job as well as the program requirements. CERTIFICATION-WHAT TO EXPECT

After you have done your research and completed the registration process, you will then select a client opportunity to enroll in. Here is what you can expect next.

Before a CSP can begin servicing a client program, they are required to take and successfully complete a client certification course. The certification fee (paid directly to Arise) for these courses can range from $19.99-$249 depending on the client. Certification is required by all clients in order to be able to service their accounts. These certification courses will provide you with the necessary information you will need on the client’s systems in order to successfully do the work outlined in your SOW.

What are the courses like?

Certification length varies by client. Certification can range from 4-8 weeks depending on the client and is M-F, normally 4 hours each day.  As an Independent Contractor, certification is unpaid. These courses are a combination of virtual classroom, instructor-led materials and self-paced activities. 100% attendance is required.

Make an educated choice:

Even though it is virtual training, the certification experience will paint you a really good picture of real world call taking. Read over the Opportunity Announcement (OA) carefully. This will provide you with all the information you need to make an informed decision on whether or not the client is for you.

SCHEDULING-WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW

Once you pass certification, you are able to set your own schedule using the Arise Platform. However, please be aware the following:

Hours are available on a “first come, first serve” basis, so it is beneficial to select servicing intervals (which are 30 minute increments) ASAP. I strongly recommend being logged in and ready to go at the start of your schedule release date and time. You are also able to access the schedule at any time and can pick up hours as they become available. CSP's do release hours which makes them available to pick up. You can also access your schedule from your mobile device.

 

Many clients do offer more servicing intervals during their peak demand season. Please be sure to review the Opportunity Announcement (OA) for the client program you are interested in servicing to learn more about this.  Some client programs do have specific servicing hour requirements which will be outlined in the OA.  Some client programs do require weekend servicing and some have specified Holiday hours.   Please make sure to read the OA carefully to make sure you can work the hours they are requiring.

Be aware that with some client programs, if you are top performer, you may receive first choice of available hours.

CAN I SERVICE MORE THAN ONE CLIENT AT A TIME?

Yes, you can take calls for more than one client at a time. However, it is strongly recommended that you get comfortable with one prior to adding another. Training can be stressful and you do not want to take on too much.  When servicing multiple clients, you are bound to the terms of each SOW individually.
